We are so excited to offer Family Camp, a great opportunity to share some of the LBMC magic, social distancing style! Parents will experience life at LBMC, campers will spend time with friends, alumni will re-live their own days at camp, and friends can see what makes LBMC special. Escape to the beautiful Pocono Mountains for a few days of fun and camp spirit while swimming and boating on the Lake Serene, tie-dyeing t-shirts in arts and crafts, and eating s’mores around the campfire!

ENROLL

All-Inclusive pricing for 4 nights, 5 days:

Private cabin of 4:

$3000 (LBMC Families and Alumni)
$3500 (Friends)

Add-ons:

  • Any additional person in the cabin – $500 per person over 3 years old
  • Motel Rooms: Private air-conditioned rooms with two double beds and a private bathroom. Limited availability, $500 additional per room.

Terms

  • Additional 15% service charge. 
  • Credit Card payment only. We will call you upon receipt of registration. Payment in full will be requested upon confirmation of date and receipt of Terms and Conditions.
  • All fees are fully refundable until two weeks prior to the session start date. After that time, there is a $500 cancellation fee. However, if we are able to re-book the cabin, 100% will be refunded.
  • Enrollment is on a first-come, first-serve basis.
  • Families will rank their top 3 choices for dates and we will do our best to accommodate preferences.
  • Terms and Conditions will be sent upon registration.

Note:  Family camp is operating under the guidelines set forth for COVID-19 in the State of Pennsylvania. We are abiding by these policies. Wayne County must stay in the “Green Zone” in order for Family Camp to operate. If for any reason, the county does not stay in “Green”, we will notify you and all fees will be refunded in full.

What Will The Day Look Like?

  • Families will travel as a unit to activities throughout the day. Campers will be supervised by parents. Certain activities will be pre- assigned in order to allow for social distancing.   
  • You are welcome to sign up for Morning Fitness, Yoga and Meditation.
  • Trail Rides at the barn will be available at an additional cost.
  • Staff will be at many activities to help. However, please remember that they too will be social distancing.
  • Every night, we will offer all camp Evening Activities, and on certain days, there will be special events that will include some of our favorite camp traditions (social distancing included)!

Whenever possible, separate equipment will be distributed to each family for use throughout the session (e.g. balls, bats, life jackets, etc). We encourage you to bring as much personal equipment as possible. A complete packing list will be sent prior to arrival. If equipment is shared, we will be following Pennsylvania and CDC cleaning and sanitizing guidelines.

Accommodations
Welcome to your camp home away from home! Each family will be assigned to their own bunk, with single beds (camp beds!). Cabins can only be shared by people who have quarantined together for 14 days prior to arrival date. Please bring your own bedding, pillows, towels, and toiletries. Each bunk has private bathrooms which will be cleaned daily. Between stays, each bunk will be cleaned and sanitized.

ADDITIONAL ACCOMMODATION OPTION: A limited number of air-conditioned motel rooms are available. Motel rooms have 2 double beds and private bathrooms.

We are sorry that your pets must stay at home.

Meals
Everyone loves camp food! Breakfast, Lunch, Snack, and Dinner are included and we have created a gourmet spin on your all-time favorites. Most meals will be served outside or under the Pavillion. Each family will have their own assigned table and tables will be spaced out to allow for social distancing. We will accommodate most special dietary needs with advance notice. BYOB for those over 21. As always, we remain nut- free. You are welcome to bring a mini- fridge for your cabin. Snacks will be served in the afternoon. Our canteen will be open each evening to purchase additional snacks. Dining facilities will be cleaned after each meal.
What Happens if it Rains?
Rain at camp is Liquid Sunshine! We will be prepared with a great rainy day schedule. Credits/refunds cannot be issued due to inclement weather.
Staff
Alongside Jane, Dan, and Eliza, we have about 15 staff members who will help to make your stay memorable! The pool and lake will be staffed with lifeguards. We know there will be some very familiar faces that your camper’s and alumni will be excited to see.
Amenities
  • Work stations upon request
  • Wifi and cell phone service available. However, we suggest that you bring a personal hot-spot as well. Camp is about disconnecting and is typically a cell phone free environment. Please limit the use of your cell phones to your bunk.
Medical
Families should pack and be ready to administer their own medicine and prescriptions as well as basic OTC items (e.g. Tylenol, Advil, etc.). We will provide each cabin with a First Aid kit.
COVID-19 Safety Plans

PRE-CAMP

  • We recommend that each guest takes a COVID-19 test 4-5 days prior to coming to camp. You can opt for the VAULT-AT-HOME Saliva test (www.vaulthealth.com) or you can go through your own physician. Testing is not required and highly suggested.
  • Daily temperature checks and general health screening 14 days prior to your visit. If anyone has any symptoms within this time, we ask that you do not attend.

AT CAMP

  • Your family should set your own rules for social distancing, as you would at home.
  • Masks are required indoors and when social distancing is not possible.
  • Daily temperature checks and self-health screening!

CLEANING AND SANITIZING PROTOCOLS

  • FIRST ACTIVITY- MAKE A FAMILY JOB WHEEL!
  • Bathrooms in the bunks will be cleaned and sanitized daily.
  • Bunks will be cleaned and sanitized in-between sessions.
  • Our camp cleaning crew will sanitize all public areas daily.
  • Hand sanitizing stations and/or pumps will be at each activity area, in cabins, and all buildings.
  • All equipment will be properly washed and sanitized between use, multiple times throughout the day, and between each session.

LEAVING CAMP

We kindly ask that you remain in camp so that we can keep everyone safe. We can provide you with anything you might have left at home! If you do need to leave camp, we request that you keep these trips to a minimum and practice social distancing.
